About Bali/What to Do

In a country made up of more than 17,000 islands, Bali remains one of the most popular tourist destinations in Indonesia. Relatively small and thus ideal for day trips, Bali is famous for its beautiful landscapes and pristine beaches. There are a variety of things to do and attractions to visit within easy driving distance of the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, whether you wish to visit one of Indonesia’s largest Hindu temples (the Pura Besakih Temple), take in some local art and culture, or have a relaxing day on one of their white sand beaches.

Attractions within walking/driving distance of the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center:

Nusa Due Beach is one of the loveliest of Bali’s beaches, known for its beautiful white sand and clear, warm water.

The Museum Pasifika is an art museum housing work from over 200 artists from across the Asian Pacific region.

If you’re looking for shopping options, Bali Collection is a shopping, dining, and entertainment center approximately a ten-minute walk away.

Puja Mandala, a short car ride away from the convention center, is a unique complex featuring five places of worship for five different world religions. It has become a symbol of Indonesia’s cultural diversity and asks all visitors to please be respectful when visiting.

If you are traveling a little further, there are a variety of historical sites and religious temples on the island of Bali (including the large and breathtaking Pura Besakih Temple), as well as numerous gardens and natural water attractions.  The city of Ubud, approximately a one-hour drive from the convention center, is known for its traditional crafts and offers many activities and attractions.
