To provide a buffer in the event of weather or other airport delays, it is strongly suggested when you make your travel plans that you: book flights with travel insurance or refundable flight plans, and/or plan to arrive a day early.
The Nusa Dua Summit Venue is well outside of the exclusion zone of Bali’s active Mount Agung volcano. The US Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs and the Government of Indonesia have deemed travel to the island and area outside of the restricted zone SAFE. The government has contingency plans in place in the event of airport closures. Summit organizers are closely monitoring the activity of the volcano in association with the government and local organizers.
