Good News: Abstract Deadline for 2026 Summit Extended

We are extending the deadline to submit your abstract to the 2026 International Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) Summit. We know many of you have asked for a little extra time to prepare your abstract. So today we are announcing that the final deadline for abstracts is Oct. 31.

Even better: if you have already submitted your abstract, you may go back and edit or update it any time until the deadline. We hope this flexibility will give you the chance to strengthen your submission.

To all practitioners, researchers, advocates, and storytellers, please submit your work through the lens of the 2026 Summit theme:

The Power of Connection: Reimagining Knowledge, Action, and Equity in a Changing SBCC Landscape.

We can’t wait to hear about your research, your lived experiences, your contributions to the field and more as we plan the next Summit, scheduled for June 22–26, 2026, in Panama City, Panama.

Need support? We recorded a webinar on Sept. 10 with tips for creating a successful submission. In case you missed it, recordings and slides are available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French, along with our FAQs.
