Babafunke Fagbemi

Babafunke Fagbemi, B. Pharm, MCA, MBA​, is a global communications expert with 30+ years of an illustrious career, currently serving as the Executive Director of Centre for Communication and Social Impact (CCSI). As the pioneer ED, she provides leadership and oversight for strategic communication across integrated health and social development. ​ 

She is the co-chair of the 2026 International Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) Summit. 

Though trained as a pharmacist, Babafunke is a qualified professional transformational coach and has dedicated the past two decades to building the next generation of strategic communicators across the continent.   ​ 

Babafunke is globally acclaimed as one of the leading lights in Africa on Social Behavior Change (SBC) and has spearheaded social impact initiatives at global and national levels.
