What COVID precautions will the conference take?
As a commitment to ensuring the safety of Summit participants to the best of our ability, Summit organizers are requiring that masks are worn during all Summit sessions. Everyone attending the Summit must also provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or the results of a negative PCR test taken no longer than 72 hours before arriving in Morocco.
Si bien el Gobierno de Marruecos actualmente no exige esto para ingresar al país, por la seguridad de los participantes de la Cumbre, hemos tomado la decisión de mantener estos protocolos para ingresar al lugar de la Cumbre.
Proof of Vaccination
Las personas que hayan recibido todas las dosis recomendadas de una vacuna contra la COVID-19 incluida en la lista de uso de emergencia de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) Se consideran completamente vacunados. Solo aquellos que estén completamente vacunados (que hayan recibido su dosis más reciente entre marzo y diciembre de 2022) o hayan recibido una dosis de refuerzo durante ese período de tiempo. Se le permitirá asistir a la Cumbre en persona (a menos que proporcione una prueba de PCR negativa como se indicó anteriormente). Se le solicitará que proporcione un comprobante de vacunación, que será revisado por personal capacitado designado cuando llegue a recoger su credencial de registro para la Cumbre.
PCR Tests On-Site
PCR testing will be available for a fee starting on December 2 on site at the Summit venue. Costs of these tests are indicated below. Accepted forms of payment include Moroccan Dirham, USD, Euro, and credit cards.
- Same-day: $50 USD (results will be available by 9:00 p.m. local time or sooner)
Recent COVID-19 Infection
Si no está completamente vacunado/tiene la vacuna de refuerzo y no puede presentar una prueba negativa debido a una infección reciente por COVID-19, debe presentar una carta de un médico que indique que se ha recuperado completamente del COVID-19.
During the Summit:
If you feel sick at any point during the Summit, for any reason, please do not come into the Summit venue to avoid potentially infecting other participants. If you test negative for COVID-19 and your symptoms improve, you can resume the regular Summit schedule. If you test positive, please do not attend the Summit.
The Summit has secured the services of a medical team trained in providing first-aid and implementing COVID-19 prevention protocols. This team will train and supervise personnel to ensure high touch surfaces are properly cleaned and disinfected between sessions; hand sanitizer stations remain stocked; masks are available and worn properly; room capacities are respected; etc. Each of the conference rooms within the Palais des Congres, and the Grand Mogador Menara will be equipped with HEPA 13 air filtration units.
Additional safety protocols will be enforced. Face masks will be required during sessions and should only be removed when actively eating or drinking.
Disposable masks will be available.
In addition, please confirm entry requirements set forth by the Government of Morocco.
