Why is EE a featured topic at the Summit?
The Summit will showcase and celebrate the diversity of new, creative and innovative brilliant programs that embrace the new landscape. This will be an informal and stimulating atmosphere for EE practitioners, researchers and creative people to share their own professional experience and challenges and to share the ‘do’s and ‘don’ts’ of EE practice, science and policy.
EE at the Summit
Entertainment Education is featured across the Summit program.
On the Summit schedule, you can click on “more filters” and search for entertainment education by day.

Entertainment Education is evolving with the times
With the explosion of social media, You Tube and other internet-based outlets, the more traditional EE approach of TV, Radio or community drama is being reshaped, taking advantage of trends of working with media influencers, shorter form content, and audience driven content.
The new EE builds on the work of many, including Dr. Miguel Sabido of Mexico who developed an EE methodology in the 1970s that incorporates social science into entertainment.
