
Daniela Gordon Ortiz
Daniela Gordon is a young woman with a physical disability. She is a social worker and a graphic designer. She works in the Interamerican Institute of Disability and Inclusive Development as a leader of the institute’s project META, a movement of young persons from Latin America and the Caribbean that promotes inclusion for young persons with disabilities in the domains of education, sexual health and reproductive rights, mental health, participation, recreation, and gender. Daniela has participated in several events, conferences and summits around the world with different agencies of the UN like UNICEF, UNFPA, UNESCO, UNGEI, OSGEY, among others, giving speeches about the meaningful participation of youth with disabilities. She is one of the founders of the Global Network of Young Persons with Disabilities (GNYPwD).
